About us

Sally Hopson
Sally joined Pets at Home in December 2008, as customer and people director, adding store and format development and non executive chair of Companion Care in 2009. This move brought the services, retail and people areas under the leadership of one board director. In April 2013, Pets at Home acquired Vets4Pets and in 2014, Sally was appointed CEO of the newly formed Pets at Home Vet Group, which includes both Vets4Pets and Companion Care brands.

Established in 2001, Vet4Pets and Companion Care provide management services to their network of small animal veterinary practices across the UK. Practices are located either within Pets At Home stores or as standalone units, both under the highly successful joint venture business model.

In Spring 2013, Vets4Pets was bought by Pets At Home and merged with Companion Care to form the largest small animal veterinary group in the UK.

Veterinary professionals who want to open their own practice in Partnership with Vets4Pets will benefit from a purpose built, new practice, equipped with top of the range equipment, access to premises 24 hours a day, separate cat and dog kennelling and waiting areas, and free car parking. Our practices have the unique advantage of benefiting from being part of a national well recognised brand including national TV advertising.
