Looking to make the leap over to the UK?

We have a number of options for international vets looking to relocate to the UK

We have a really diverse and multicultural veterinary workforce in the UK and our practices love employing veterinary talent from abroad. At the last count we had over 43 different nationalities working in the Group.
With a portfolio of over 450 practices of all shapes and sizes across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales we’re certain we can find a location that fits in with you and your lifestyle. Once you live here, getting around is pretty easy too. Whether you live by the Jurassic coast in Devon or Dorset, or by the Brecon Beacons in Wales, you won’t be limited to the places you can visit in the UK. Our iconic cities and countryside has something for everyone no matter what you’re into. The beautiful Scottish highlands and the castles of Ireland are still easily accessible via car, air or sea, and come highly recommended.

At Vets4Pets our model is unique. You get the best of both worlds: all the benefits that come from being part of a large organisation, as well as the opportunity to work alongside the owner of the practice who operates with complete clinical freedom.

The sun doesn’t always shine in the UK but one thing is for certain; we are a nation of animal lovers. In 2017 the total number of pets in the UK was estimated to be 54 million* and our pets (including the not so furry pets) are treated like members of the family. UK spend on pets is increasing; large proportions of pets are insured and our practices are well equipped and committed to modern, progressive vet medicine.

If you’ve been working outside of the industry, in a non-practising role, or have qualified in the last few years and are in need of support developing your skills, then our International Vet Programme is the programme for you.

Or perhaps you’re somewhere in-between. If you’ve recently qualified and are searching for your first role, take a look at our Graduate Development Programme.
